- Spring 2011The first ECOM-related conference, co-organized by Dorit Bar-On and Mitchell Green, was held in London, March 24-26th, 2011. It featured 15 speakers/commentators from 7 countries. For a list of the speakers (and audio of some of the talks) visit here.
- Summer 2011Dorit Bar-On and Mitchell Greene have organized a Protolanguage Workshop to be hosted at the University of Virginia. Ruth Millikan(UConn) will be the Keynote Speaker. The UConn Bouldering Competition offers participants the opportunity to challenge each other, and to climb some of our CC Route Setters’ most creative bouldering problems.
Climbers of all skills levels are welcome, this event is designed for maximum fun and camaraderie, in which winning takes a backseat to the love of the climb!
All competitors will receive an event t-shirt and the top 3 male and female climbers will receive a prize!
To allow for more Climbers to participate, this year’s competition will be a weeklong event!
Climbers will submit their score by snapping a picture of the QR code and entering the climbs that they completed and the amount of faults they had that day! Top 5 climbs will be counted towards your overall score.

SPINNING®, or indoor cycling, is a fun yet intense cardio-based class that takes place on specialized Spinner bikes. Riders are challenged both mentally and physically as they work through a variety of class profiles including hills, flats, sprints, jumps, intervals, and more alongside fantastic playlists.
